“Create something interesting” was the design brief that was handed to myself from the marketing manager of the label VU.
After another meeting we came up with a 'returning spring 2010' message and tag line that I based most of the development on. Many ideas were toyed with, and the obvious was the emphasis on the product shot its self.
My initial idea was to express the tees being released into society, strange I know and hard to see in this clip.
The reason behind this is because the initial storyboard was to be shot at five different locations around the Gold Coast.
Now, unfortunately due to bad weather, we had to think on the spot and change the initial plans. We had to move equipment and crew at the last minute to find a more suitable location.
The new location however provided some interesting backdrops with plenty of natural lighting. This was an added bonus as it gave us more time to experiment on each shot.
